Paul Annacone The New Coach for Sloane Stephens


The former touring professional tennis player, Paul Annacone has been appointed as the new coach for American starlet Sloane Stephens.

The 20-year-old, who ranked 12 by the Women’s Tennis Association and has been very well aware of the expertise of her new coach, who has previously worked with all-time Grand Slam champion Roger Federer.

This will be the first time for Annacone to be coached a female player. Annacone told USA Today, “That is a terrific opportunity, I’m going to have to get comfortable with it and understand the dynamics. She’s going to have to understand me.”

Stephens made her professional debut at ITF Circuit in late 2007. She has played four semi-finals in her last season but is still struggling for her first final appearance.
