Tottenham step up Franck Kessie interest?

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly “explored” the possibility of signing Barcelona midfielder Franck Kessie.

The Ivory Coast international joined Barca as a free agent from AC Milan last summer, but has not been able to make a significant impact at Camp Nou. He has only started five times in the Spanish top flight under Xavi.

Previously, Kessie played more than 100 times for Milan and was part of the team that won the 2021-22 Serie A title, beating fierce rivals Inter Milan and Napoli.

According to the Daily Mail, Tottenham Hotspur are keen to sign the Ivorian this summer and have asked the Catalan giants to provide them with a price for the midfielder. The report suggests that Kessie is one of the players Barcelona are considering selling in the upcoming transfer window to fund potential new arrivals.
