Manchester United have reportedly stepped up their interest in Birmingham City wonderkid Jude Bellingham.
Despite 16 years of age, Bellingham racked up 16 starts and four substitute appearances for Blues.
The teenager has inevitably led to interest from the Premier League giants, including from Manchester United who are currently going through a transitional period.
According to The Telegraph, United assist Mike Phelan was in attendance to assess the midfielder’s development against West Bromwich Albion earlier this month.
While the 20-time English champions are now focused on signing Erling Braut Haaland from Red Bull Salzburg, the report claims that the United view the attacker as the next prospect who they intend to target in the summer.
Bellingham has just more than 18 months remaining on his contract at the Championship outfit.
