Juventus midfielder Arthur Melo has joined Liverpool on loan for the 2022-23 campaign.
The Reds were on the lookout for midfield reinforcements on deadline day after Jordan Henderson picked up a hamstring injury during a 2-1 win over Newcastle United on Wednesday.
The Merseyside outfit are also currently without Thiago Alcantara, Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, prompting them to strengthen their ranks with a late deal for Arthur Melo from Juventus.
The 26-year-old joins Liverpool on loan for the 2022-23 campaign.
The Brazil international spent two seasons at Turin following his move from Barcelona in 2020.
Arthur could be involved in Jurgen Klopp’s side in the next Premier League game against Everton on Saturday.
