Everton slap £50m price tag on Man United target Jordan Pickford

Everton have reportedly slapped a £50million price-tag on Jordan Pickford, amid speculation that Premier League giants Manchester United are looking to snap him up.

The 25-year-old goalkeeper has had a mixed campaign at the Goodison Park since playing a major role in England’s run to the last four of the FIFA World Cup.

According to The Sun, the England international now faces a fight for his future as the Merseyside club are willing to cash in for £50million, with that money going straight towards signing in Nick Pope from FC Burnley for a fifth of the amount.

Manchester United may be monitoring Pickford’s developments as it has been claimed that they have identified the former Sunderland stopper as an ideal replacement for David de Gea, who is unlikely to sign a new contract at Old Trafford.
