Chelsea lining up move for Raheem Sterling?

Chelsea are reportedly planning a summer move for Manchester City forward Raheem Sterling, according to Talksport.

The 27-year-old striker has scored 17 goals in 47 appearances for the Premier League champions last term, but with his contract set to expire in 2023, he could depart the Etihad this summer.

A recent report indicated that the England international could leave on a free transfer next summer, but according to Talksport, City do not want to lose the amount of £49m that was paid for the Englishman in 2015.

With the Citizens reportedly prepared to sell Sterling this summer, Thomas Tuchel’s side are one of the clubs that are lining up an offer.

The Blues could face stiff competition from the likes of Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and Barcelona who have all been credited with an interest in the forward.

Sterling has netted 131 goals in 339 matches for City, helping the club win multiple trophies including four Premier League titles.
