Chelsea eye surprise move for Wojciech Szczesny

Chelsea have reportedly set their sights on a deal for former Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny from Juventus.

The Blues have Kepa Arrizabalaga and Edouard Mendy as their regular goalkeepers. However, both have failed to impress.

As a result, the West London club are actively searching for a replacement in the transfer market. According to TuttoJuve, they may consider pursuing the services of Szczesny.

The Poland international has spent six seasons with Juventus, but the club are now willing to sell him after failing to secure a spot in the Champions League.

The Old Lady are prepared to let him go for a fee of approximately €10 million. They are motivated to remove his €12 million-a-year salary from their wage bill for the upcoming season.

The 33-year-old has made 181 appearances in all competitions during his time with Arsenal. It remains to be seen if he would be open to the idea of playing for their London rivals next season.
