Chelsea eye PSV midfielder Ibrahim Sangare

Chelsea have emerged as rumoured suitors for PSV Eindhoven midfielder Ibrahim Sangare ahead of the summer transfer window, according to The Daily Mirror.

Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is looking to overhaul his squad ahead of next season as the 48-year-old German takes on one of the biggest challenges of his managerial career so far.

The report adds that the Blues have been keeping close tabs on Sangare as a potential signing.

The west London outfit are attempting to identify cheaper alternatives to West Ham’s Declan Rice after the Hammers quoted a £150m asking price for the Englishman.

The Daily Mirror claim that the Chelsea could look to Sangare as an option in central midfield after his impressive performances domestically and in Europe this term.

The media outlet reveal that the Ivory Coast international is also attracting interest from Man United after he impressed against Leicester City in the Uefa Europa League earlier this year.

The 24-year-old has scored two goals and registered three assists in 28 games in the Dutch top flight this term
