Arsenal are set to complete the signing of Everton Soares from Gremio, according to Fox Sports in Brazil.
A four-year contract is thought to be on the table for the Brazilian, who was formerly a transfer target for Serie A outfit AC Milan, but the Gunners are now closing in on a deal to land the attacking midfielder this summer.
The 23-year-old helped his national team to win the Copa America trophy this summer, scoring three goals in the competition.
He also scored three times in the Brazilian league last term, notching a further three in the Copa Libertadores.
The north Londoners are believed to be on the lookout for a number of new signings ahead of new season but so far they have only signed Gabriel Martinelli from Ituano.
