Arsenal keen on signing Nottingham Forest defender Joe Worrall


Arsenal are closely monitoring the rise of Nottingham Forest centre-back Joe Worrall, according to Football Insider.

The Gunners are determined to sign a new centre-half to strengthen Unai Emery’s leaky defence ahead of the January transfer window.

The north London outfit were thought to have sent scouts to watch the 22-year-old English star feature in Forest’s clash against QPR at Loftus Road on Wednesday night.

Unai Emery’s side are considering a potential bid to sign the the England Under-21 international, who has made one assist in 16 appearances for the Championship outfit this season.

The defender has come through the youth ranks at Nottingham Forest and has scored once in 56 games across all competitions since breaking into the Forest side.
