Arsenal are reportedly considering a swoop to sign former Chelsea defender Gary Cahill on a free transfer this summer.
The Gunners are interested in the former England international after their London rivals released him at the end of the 2018-19 Premier League season.
The report adds that the north Londoners will face competition for the veteran defender’s signature from Crystal Palace and West Ham United.
The Championship play-off winners Aston Villa are also interested in a deal to sign the 33-year-old defender this summer.
It has been reported that Cahill would like to stay in the London following his move to Chelsea from Bolton in 2011.
