Arsenal identify Yan Couto as Hector Bellerin replacement

Arsenal have reportedly placed emphasis on signing Brazilian teenager Yan Couto as a potential replacement for Hector Bellerin in the January transfer window.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is keen on to make significant changes to the first-team squad at the Emirates Stadium.

However, according to Globo Esporte, the 37-year-old technician is also eyeing signings for the future, with Yan Couto said to be on his radar.

The 17-year-old, who has helped Brazil win the Under-17 World Cup, is reportedly valued in the region of £4.25m by his current employer Coritiba.

The report says that Bundesliga outfit Bayer Leverkusen are prepared to rival the English giants for the Brazilian’s signature.
