Arsenal considering move for Sergej Milinkovic-Savic

Arsenal have reportedly set their sights on a deal for Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.

The Serbia international is about to enter the final 18 months of his contract with Biancocelesti.

Manchester United, Chelsea and Real Madrid are all said to be interested in his signature, and a recent report suggested that the midfielder had already agreed to join Juventus.

However, according to Spanish outlet Relevo, the Gunners have now made contact regarding a possible move in 2023.

The 27-year-old supposedly has no intention of extending his stay at Lazio, who could be prepared to sanction a sale at the end of the season.

Lazio president Claudio Lotito is said to be holding out for a fee between €80m and €100m over the winter, but Milinkovic-Savic’s asking price will drop dramatically in the summer.

The Premier League leaders could potentially land the Serbian for as little as €40m at the end of the campaign.

Milinkovic-Savic has scored 63 goals and provided 58 assists in 314 matches for Lazio.
