Philadelphia Eagles receiver Jeremy Maclin hopes for a new deal


Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Jeremy Maclin has revealed his desire to remain with the club until the end of his career.

The 26-year-old, who signed a one-year deal with the Eagles earlier this season, with 82 catches for 1,269 yards and 10 touchdowns. He hopes to get extension done before he reaches free agency next spring.

When asked if he wanted to stay in Philadelphia, Maclin told reporters: “This is a great place to be. This is the place that drafted me. I want to end my career here.”

“If we can get something worked out when the time is right, that’s what will happen.”

The Eagles acquired the services of Maclin on a five-year and $15.5 million deal in the first round of the 2009 Draft.
