Chelsea have reportedly re-ignite their interest in signing Atletico Madrid superstar Antoine Griezmann this summer, according to The Mirror.
The 25-year-old Frenchman, who has four years remaining on his contract in the Vicente Calderón Stadium capital, has scored stunning 29 goals in 46 appearances for the Rojiblancos this season.
Griezmann’s goals have helped the Spanish side to draw level on points at the top of La Liga with the reigning champions Barcelona, to knock out the defending European champions out of the Champions League tournament.
The report claims that the Blues will make an impressive offer to lure the 25-year-old to Stamford Bridge this summer, despite missing out on qualification for both in the Champions League and Europa League spot.
The reigning Premier League champions are hoping that Griezmann will be keen to join former Atletico top-scorer Diego Costa at the west London club.
