England wicketkeeper-batsman Sam Billings has signed for Sydney Sixers in the Big Bash League to be played in Australia next month.
The 25-year-old is expected to miss the later stages of the Big Bash League because of his international duty with England’s ODI tour to India in January.
Billings will meet up England team-mate Jason Roy in the Sixers squad.

The player said: “It’s a great competition and to get the opportunity to play in it is fantastic. I spent six months in Sydney in 2013 and it was a very good experience and great for my game.”
Sydney Sixers will play against the defending champions Sydney Thunder in the tournament opener on December 20.
