Wawrinka confident to stun Djokovic again

The World No. 4 Stanislas Wawrinka is confident of beating Novak Djokovic ahead of their clash in the ATP World Tour Finals.

The pair will meet in a mouth-watering showdown at the O2 in London on Wednesday evening.

Djokovic, 27, hadn’t face any such trouble during his match against Marin Cilic 6-1 6-1, while Wawrinka had earlier won against the Czech international Tomas Berdych.

The 29-year-old Wawrinka said: “I had six wins against the top 10 in the first three months of the year, then I never played them again because I lost early in the tournaments.

“I think I showed from the beginning of the year, already from last year, that my level is there. When I feel good on the court, I’m ready to beat everybody.”

Wawrinka started the season by beating the world number one and claimed the Australian Open title this January and now the Swiss international is very much confident for repeating the history at O2 in London.
