The Premier League club Manchester United are planning to sell their winger Nani at the end of the season, reports the Manchester Evening News.
The 28-year-old, who is currently serving his loan spell with the Sporting Lisbon and has scored 7 goals in 17 appearances for the Portuguese outfit this season.
The Portugal international still has three-and-a-half years left on his current contract, and there had been rumours that United manager Louis van Gaal is desperate to offload the midfielder this summer in order to clear up any deadwood in United’s squad and able to collect funds for his transfer targets.
However, Nani recently claimed that United want him back at Old Trafford, as reported by Goal.
Nani has scored 40 goals in 228 appearances for United in all competitions, but has only featured in 23 Premier League games since the last three seasons.
Although, he has won four league titles and the Champions League during his time at Old Trafford.
