John Terry proud of 100th Champions League appearances

Chelsea captain John Terry is proud that he was honoured to achieve the milestone of 100 Champions League appearances for the club.

The 33-year-old defender reached the milestone in the 1-0 win against Sporting Lisbon in their Group G match on Tuesday evening.

“There are not many players to achieve that so I’m very proud,” ESPN quotes Terry as saying to Sky Sports.

“I’m feeling great at the moment, and I’m really honoured to reach that landmark with Chelsea, but is also up to myself to maintain my performances and stay in a very good side.”

Terry became the 21st player to join the elite ‘100 club’ of appearances.
