Galatasaray midfielder Wesley Sneijder has committed his future until the end of the 2017-18 season after signing a new contract extension with the Turkish Super Lig heavyweights.
The Netherlands international has scored 37 goals while providing 18 assists in 111 appearances for the Turkish giants since joining from Inter Milan in 2013.

The midfielder was linked with both Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain, but the 31-year-old chose to remain at the Turk Telekom Arena Stadium where he lifted the league title twice during his stay in Istanbul,
The club also announced that ceremony with Sneijder will take place on Sunday.
