Real Madrid talisman Cristiano Ronaldo became the first sportsman to have 100 million Facebook followers on the planet.
The 29-year-old has now got nearly 30 million more Facebook followers than Barcelona’s Lionel Messi, who have 74 million followers on Facebook.
The Portuguese superstar uploaded a video on his official Facebook page, thanking his fans for achieving 100 million likes.
Ronaldo also winning the most follower game on Twitter with over 30 million followers – 10 million ahead of the next most popular Brazilian athlete Kaka, who have around 21 million followers.
