South Africa squad for Australia Tour in November


South Africa wicket-keeper batsman AB de Villiers has been ruled out of the Australia tour in November due to having surgery to his elbow.

The 32-year-old skipper was failed a fitness test on Tuesday and will miss the upcoming five match ODI series and the three-Test match series Down Under in November.

The left handed batman Rilee Rossouw will replace De Villiers, which means there’s no opportunity  for Temba Bavuma, despite notching a hundred run on his debut on Sunday against Ireland.

South Africa squad: Faf du Plessis (captain), Kyle Abbott, Hashim Amla, Farhaan Behardien, Quinton de Kock, JP Duminy, Imran Tahir, David Miller, Wayne Parnell, Aaron Phangiso, Andile Phehlukwayo, Kagiso Rabada, Rilee Rossouw, Tabraiz Shamsi, Dale Steyn.
