Aussies and Kiwis looks set for Day Night Test Match


Australia and New Zealand both are considering for playing the first ever day-night Test match in Down Under next year 2015, following the meeting between two cricket boards.

However, the venue of the day-night inaugural match is not confirmed yet, but it is likely to be played either at Adelaide or Hobart with a pink-coloured balls and under the floodlights, expected to be play in November 2015.

“We are serious about pushing ahead with the concept of day-night Test cricket”, Cricket Australia chief executive Sutherland said.

England former batsman Kevin Pietersen reacted on the concept of the day-night Test match via his Twitter account:

The day-night test match concept could be proved as a game-changer except in England, where the evenings are cooler than Asia, South Africa and certainly the Caribbean.
