Andy Flower Quits as England Coach


The Zimbabwean – Andy Flower ended his job as England team director following the Ashes whitewash in Australia, the ECB announced on Friday.

During his tenure, England has been top of the ICC rankings in all three formats – tests, one-dayers and T20 international including three Ashes series victories and the World Twenty20 title in 2010.

However, The ECB confirmed Flower will remain as the selector for the time being.

Flower tells the the reason behind standing down is the recent Ashes defeat 5-0 to Australia at Down Under.
