West Indies squad for England ODIs

West Indies cricket have included their duo star players Chris Gayle and Marlon Samuels in the One-day International (ODI) squad for the five-match ODI series next month’s against England.

Gayle, 37, one of the greatest batsman in cricket world, has not represented the national team since the 2015 World Cup, while the 36-year-old Samuels has remained sidelines for a year because of a dispute with the management. read more


English county: Fakhar Zaman all set for Somerset debut

Pakistani left-handed batsman Fakhar Zaman is ready to play his first game of the English county after he was signed by Somerset as their overseas player for the remainder of the 2017 season.

The 27-year-old will replace Kiwi all-rounder Corey Anderson who requires a surgery for stress fracture after featuring four times for the South West England outfit in T20 Blast. read more

England seamer Mark Wood has been recalled in the 15-man ODI squad for the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy 2017 to be played from June 2.

The 27-year-old has returned to action following a six-month injury lay-off, has also been included in the three-match series against South Africa and the two ODIs against Ireland early next month. read more
